It really depends on what type of fish you are trying to catch. I've found that in Oklahoma the best type of bait for catfish is either fresh, cut shad or large minnows. Some people have good luck with perch or goldfish. For bass, I've always had good luck with worms, either real or fake. The Powerbait worms are an excellent choice, they have a smell to them that the fish love. For crappie, it is best to use either live minnows or jigs. Depending on what type of fish you trying to catch, the tackle will vary by hook size and shape, also the size of the jigs and colors. |
