Default Any artists here?

I dabble in oils and sketching, and used acrylics to paint a scene on a wall and door in my library. I'm thinking of doing something like that in my bedroom as well, and maybe the halls. Nothing like a huge "canvas" to work on. Anyone else here do any painting or sketching?

I do a little bit of painting. I'm not very skilled at sketching, but I can paint pretty well. I have painted a mural on the walls in my closet, but that's the biggest project I have done.

Other than sketching and painting, I'm also a photographer.

I'm a big doodler, if that counts. I'm bad when I'm in a boring meeting or seminar or something. I fill my margins with funky doodles.

I'm a doodler too. I'm not much in the art department. It's hard to sit down and create something from... almost nothing. I have a lot of respect for artists, just because I'm not one.

I used to sketch-large pencil sketches of whatever took my fancy that time-my violin, my friend's baby, my aunt's lakehouse. But since I had my kid, I haven't the time, so I turned to photography. At least I still am able to express my creativity, without the heartbreaking risk of damage to my work from my darling child.

If I really put my heart into it, I can draw, but it is not something that I try to work on everyday. My son however is very skilled at his young age, but then again he sketches on a daily basis. he is now getting to an age that he has found a interest in wanting to sell some of his work.

I love to draw and am really enjoying pastels, lately. I like painting but I'm not too skilled in that department, yet. I've attached a drawing I did recently, using pastels. It doesn't represent anything, just pure abstract. I've been told it looks like an amoeba, what do you think?

I am an artist! But lately, all of my art have been done digitally on the computer. It's just faster, cleaner and more efficient. I love the "undo" button. Too bad you don't get one when you're painting in oils or acrylics.

Yes! I have worked in many mediums. I draw, paint, sew, work with wire, and I make jewelry.

Here is the cool thing about what I am working on right now. All of my items are made from vintage items that have been reused, very eco friendly!
