Default Picasso's stolen paintings

Did anyone else hear about the two paintings that were stolen from his relative's house. I believe it was Picasso's grandaughter who had the paintings in her home when they were stolen. You would think she would have them kept in a safe somewhere, or at least somewhere more secure than they obviously were. I'm not sure about all the facts, has anyone else heard anything about this?

I really hope so too. Just think how you would feel if you lost all that money from just two paintings. Though personally I don't know why anyone would want them - they are not exactly my cup of tea.

I acually feel bad for her, art theifs can be dangerous, it's a huge thing in some places. I never got to see which paintings were taken, have any of you?

Default she did it

i dont even think they got stolen if you ask me i think that she might have had something to do with it. For them to not have taken anything else its kind of odd to me.

Yeah, $66 million in art is not enough . . . make sure you grab that $300 in flatware.

A lot of these thefts are on order by collectors. Don't forget that it is rather hard to sell famous stolen paintings as no collector could ever show their priced assets to anyone due to the problems they would get it.

Default Piccasso

Yup, people pay these people to steal "art" in particular, and nothing else. I hear there's the reputable thiefs, and then the not so reputable ones. It's a huge deal, not your average B & E, they get paid rather handsomely for these jobs (stealing), so why screw it up over some "flatware". And I dunno about her having to have anything to do with it, she's got enough money to generously satisfy several lifetimes, why pull such a petty scam? She could just sell 1 and be set for a cozy while.

(p.s. I love this little guy Tanya)
