This might seem an odd topic of conversation for her, but I have an ambition. It's quite simple; I want to read the bible from cover to cover. I have started already with the Christian Greek scriptures, and will move onto the Hebrew Aramaic when I am done. Anyone ever done this?

When I was a kid, I tried reading the entire Bible at least a dozen times. I don't remember ever getting past Genesis, lol. Once they get into the genealogy ("when Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father of Enosh, after he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters"....etc,) I fall asleep. Good Luck! Maybe start at the back!

This is a really, possible ambition to meet! All you have to do is read a couple of pages a day and you will finish the bible in about four years. It might seem a long time, but it can be your bathroom reading or anything, and doing it at that speed you don't burn yourself out. I skipped the begats....

OMG someone else does that, I have a bible in my bathroom, it's a Good News Version so it's like so easy to read. The easies way to read through the bible is to skip out those section when you are getting bored, make a note of them and come back when you feel up to it. The old testament stories are really exciting.
