We all know of course that sunscreen is super important for our little ones delicate skin. Sunburn at a young age hugely increases the risk of skin cancer as you age. But there seems a big controversy about which is best, and which is safest, with a lot of creams aimed at kids having chemicals in them that are considered dangerous. What do you use and do you consider it safe? What SPF is it?

I find the smell of sunscreen absolutely unbearable. It makes me nauseous and givs my an instant headache. Just thinking about it makes me sick, lol. This, along with the fact that I, too am concerned about the chemicals in sunscreen, is why I'm going with long sleeves and wide-brimmed hats this summer. ![]()

My daughter gets very, very bad prickly heat with even minimal heat, so long clothing is not an option. For us we try and do natural lotions like Aveeno, and there was another that I forget-I used last summer when she was smaller. It is on the whole not laden with chemicals and I don't mind using it on me too. Smell isn't wonderful, but I can bear it.
