When to have children?

This question I have been constantly arguing with my girlfriend. She says that she wants to have 'em asap. But I am not in favor of children atleast not for next 5 years. Whats say?

I am 45 years old and I didn't want to have children when I was younger. But now that I am older I would like to have a child (gotta meet the right woman first...LOL). In my opinion people get married too young and have kids too young.

Well, I would suggest waiting until she is not your girlfriend, but rather, your wife.

That being said, I have a long standing policy that no one should get married until they are at least 25.

After getting married you should have a period of getting used to being married and enjoy the time together, because as soon as you have kids, all that changes.
