I haven't used it myself since uni, but I am debating partitioning my new laptop for duel boot when it comes. I'd like to get back into linux, and keep myself current on available flavours and so on. Any other users here?

The flavour that I wish to run cannot be run from CD. Besides, it's not a hard thing to do, just takes a little time to set up. Fat32 is a must regardless of whether it is a partitioned dual boot system or not, because I want access for all my files always.

still I had hard disks on my laptop which I had partitioned with size more than 32gb resulting in me not able to use fat filesystem on my laptop hard disk. I had to go for ext3 and some partition with songs was made as fat32 so that I could listen up to them through both of the OSes.

My cousin is a computer tech and he set our computer up for duel boot into Linux, which is great backup for when Windows acts up. We have an online business so it is important to have a backup system to be able to rely on.
