Does anybody have any suggestions for a laptop for a new college student?

I need to have internet access, and that's my only requirement. I want a laptop that is good quality, but also affordable. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Of course. By saying that my only requirement is internet access, I'm trying to show that I'm not picky. Also, I know that some are more convenient for internet access than others.
