Default Where to Shop Online?

I've always picked up my PC components and peripherals from places like Dabs, though wondered if anyone had any other recommendations?

The service has always been pretty good and returns are always handled promptly, though on occasions I don't think they are the cheapest guys out there. I've used comparison sites and tried other firms but service always seems to be a sticking point.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome as I'm due a couple of upgrades.

As I recall, you live in the UK. It is my understanding that it is difficult if not impossible to ship computer components over the pond. Is that correct?

If so, that probably limits your options a bit. Luckily, I live walking distance from a CompUSA, and have tons of other stores very close to me.

I was going to say I never order computer stuff online, then looked down at my lap and remembered that is how I got my Toshiba Satellite. But I got it customized, from Toshiba, so really did not have much choice.

I really love Digital-Boards.com The Online Consumer Network. But I may have tried to post a spammy link so this post has been modified.

One of my favorite computer shops in the whole world is a shop called tigerDirect, they seem to have a good customer history with deliveries and all of that and carry alot of neat stuff, check it out.

I prefer shopping locally as much as possible for my computer hardware because it's a beast to have to ship it off to WhoKnowsWhere for repairs when (not if) they become necessary.

I have been buying stuff from buy.com quite often now. They give fabulous discounts and offer best value for money deals.

They kind of ticked me off when they let me order a Sony PlayStation, then decided they did not to honor the orders they took.
