Well, we were having guests to dinner, don't you know. At 10:45 I had the oven pre-heating, or so I thought.

Five minutes later I go to put the food in the oven-and it was cold. I tried pulling the element out and putting it back in in the hopes that it had come unclipped somehow.

All efforts failed and I had to have someone cook dinner for us. I can't afford to fix this right now as there are far more pressing matters to deal with. It sucks.
