My favorite cookies are Shortbread Cookies. Here is a recipe:

SHORTBREAD COOKIES

½ c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 ½ c. flour

Using an electric mixer, beat all ingredients until smooth & creamy. Make into a block for easy slicing. Freeze for about an our so the block will be hard, then slice of to desired thickness. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 300 F for 20 minutes.

I have a recipe here somewhere for chocolate shortbread. I haven't made it in ages, but it's yummy.

I haven't made real, from scratch cookies in about a decade

My idea of home made lately is ones that I cut from a roll and bake at home....

It's time to get messy with my daughter I think, so I'll be watching for more recipes!

I think my favorite are no bake cookies. I have no clue how to make them, that is what i have sisters for. They are good at it, so when I want them I have them make them and pay them for them.

Go to Store.
Buy cookies.
Open Package.
Eat.

Pretty easy, and tasty too.
