I do not not use credit cards at all. I believe that is the only method for not getting into trouble-there are way too many people who spend what they don't actually have, and others still who have their credit card cloned or stolen. Not worth the hassle.

I don't use credit cards. I prefer to use debit cards that give you may of the perks that credit cards do without the temptation to spend money you don't yet have. Many services like airline tickets and paying bills over the phone van be taken care of with a debit card just as easily as with a credit card.

I have never used a credit card in my life. This isn't because I can't get one, but because I think they're generally a bad idea, unless you are either very disciplined, or can afford to waste money on interest payments. I'll admit, there are definitely times in my life (some more recent than others) that, had I owned I credit card, I would've gotten myself into quite a pickle. Without credit cards, if I go over my budget, the consequences are immediate and direct. Credit cards allow people to live in a state of denial about their finances, often until it's too late. It irks me that many companies, especially online, don't accept alternate payment methods. We had to leave the beach, once, because you couldn't pay for your parking without a credit card! It's discrimination. ![]()
