Default 20 Pounds in Two Months?

I'm currently overweight. I need to lose about 20 pounds so I'd be fit. I have not eaten meat in a week and I'm not planning to eat meat for a month. I have exercised every single day too. Next week I will start lifting weights.

Do you think I can lose 20 pounds in two months? Is it healthy? I've done it before when I was 17 or 18 years old.

Since no one responded to my thread, I'm just going to update you guys. So far, I've lost 10 pounds already.... That's in just one month. I don't think it's healthy to lose another ten pounds next month so I'm going to take it slowly.

You are right Fresh fries, you shouldn't try to lose so much weight in such a short time. You may shock your system. Try to be moderate, eat the right kinds of foods and continue to do your exercise. Good luck.

Thanks Sugar Free. I actually think that I'm on a weight loss plateau right now. I've stopped losing weight after the initial 10 pounds. But that's totally fine with me. I'll just continue exercising and eating healthy food.

Sorry I missed this earlier. When I was about 27 I lost 30 lbs in 30 days by going on a hi-protein, low carb diet, running and working out every other day with about 10 minutes in the steam room after the workouts.

It can be done, but it takes dedication.

i managed to loose 50 pounds in 2 months. it was a hell of a restriction!
