You know, if you have a successful web publishing company you may want to consider becoming a sponsor at Digital-Boards. You can get full details at Digital Board Ads or you can PM me.

Sponsors enjoy lots of perks, and the value for the price can not be beat.

Wordpress is probably the most search engine friendly blog script out there. Finding a theme you like, or a designer that can make a theme you like is easy and if not free, very inexpensive.

You will notice that is what we use. Web Host Digital Board » Blog Archive » Got Web Host

I notcied that some blogs limit you to be able to do different things when it comes to creating your own personal look. Thats what I don't like. but bravenet is actually cool when it comes to being able to do that.

I have a diary on Opendiary and have been there since 1999. I find it hard to get into the other ones. The communities don't seem as friendly as OD.

I also agree that when you have a undeveloped domain that you can setup a blog and start generating traffic. that is a great idea.

I don't maintain my own blog but I have maintained blogs as a freelance paying gig for several others. I just haven't got the time to dedicate to keeping a blog for my own enjoyment. I just graduated college though so perhaps that will be something I do in the future.
