I have read a fair few things about people handling their divorce themselves. When the other side doesn't have representation either, do you think that this could go ok?

Well, I represented myself successfully, but I had legal experience and a lot of resources available.

I would not recommend it for the feint of heart. It is pretty stressful.

Of course, if you don't have kids or property and it is not contested, it is a piece of cake.
