Default Any other avid gamblers here?

Anyone else here gamble on a regular basis? I've played a little poker for a while now, though have recently started playing online and having the odd game amongst friends and colleagues. We don't bet much more than a few quid, though we do tend to have a few beers and banter, just generally make a night of it.

Being in the UK, casinos are still a little thin on the ground, so unfortunately it will probably be a little while before I'm hitting the slots and tables on a more regular basis.

Anybody lucky enough to hit the casinos regularly? If so, what's your game? I stick to Hold'em or Omaha primarily, though Blackjack can be worth a pop if you're feeling lucky.

I like playing blackjack when we go to the boats or to Vegas. I was playing online through Paradise until the laws changed. Texas Hold'em, I think one of the games I played on Paradise was a $3 game, I took 1st $577

Very nicely done - I'm seldom a big winner as I am hopelessly cautious. The only time I'd go all in is with my last chip or a Royal Flush!

The law changes really hit a lot of the online casinos hard which is a shame - Numbers have dropped significantly on a few of my usual haunts. Seemed a little over the top to me, though I guess there isn't much you can do about it but grin and bear it.

I did get a cd from the sports betting site that was part of paradise, it says I can play poker through it. I haven't looked to see if it is money games or just free ones.

I got one of those also, but trashed it as I am sure it comes complete with spyware.

Every thime I go to Indiana, Tanya makes me go gamble on the river boats. She is such a bad influence.

I used to play Texas Holdem online, but the laws changed so they got to keep whatever money I had stashed.

I go to many webmaster conventions that include Texas Holem tournaments. I do pretty well, but after a couple of hours I get bored so start making stupid bets just so I can leave.
