Who here makes bets on football games (or other sports)? I make bets usually during the playoffs and superbowl thats about it. Maybe some of you do the same, or gamble in sports heavily making extra money from it instead of a part time job?

I have the odd bet on the horses though aside from that not much. There are a couple of big events here (The Grand National for one) where it seems that everyone has a bet, even those (like me) who wouldn't normally.

Nothing serious though, I think the best win I've had just about managed to cover an inexpensive meal out with the other half.

I bet on soccer games here in Europe. There are lots of betting offices where you can bet on soccer games as well as practically any sport or event.
