My favorite board game ever has always been The Game of LIfe. I loved the satisfaction of being able to "accomplish" things I knew would never happen (example: Cure cancer!).

My favorite part was always picking my job, salary, and house.

Who else has ever loved this game?

It's okay. I like Careers better although The Game of Life has more life options. Careers is more school, jobs, etc. where GoL has getting married and having kids and such.

This was the big one for my family, but I never really liked it. It was too long, and just so badly followed a pattern-there was absolutely no skill involved, and only one choice-do I go career?

It just got a little dull I think.

I know that I played this game a couple of times but it really doesn't stick out in my mind as one of my favorites. I would hva to play it again to refresh my memory. I have never played the came Careers - or even heard of it for that matter.
