| Are you for or against the use of marijuana as medicine? I, being a medical marijuana user, am obviously for, as are 93% of Canadians, according to a recent nationwide survey. I suffer from several physiological and psychological disorders, and, after going the pharmaceuticals route for over 10+ years, with all the side effects, interactions and general ineffectiveness, I am fully convinced medical marijuana is definitely the right choice for me. I started in August of last year, and for the first time in my life, I have a life. I can function, and do many of the things healthy people take for granted. It's been a miracle in my life. Pre-occupation with my PTSD, OCD and anxiety symptoms, as well as chronic, debilitating pain, no longer consumes the majority of my time. I understand why people have their objections, but I wish poeple would take a more objective look at this safe, effective alternative to sythetic medications, and get over the fact that it gets you "high". ![]() |

| I agree with the use of medical marijuana and can see that it is very beneficial for a variety of conditions. I too wish their was more acceptance of this presription as a treatment alternative. I saw a tv talk show in which kids with ADD were being given medical marijuana as a tx. I don't really agree with this. |
