| We only recently came off dial up, and onto DSL. Now, cable has hit my area, and my DSL company is stopping the deal that we had been using and it will cost significantly more. Is it worth the switch to cable? We will have to have the wiring done inside the house and I am not looking forward to that. |

| I have been using cable for many, many years. 7 or so. We have fiber optic cable, so that really speeds things up. As far as cabling is concerned, if you have cable TV they will just add a splitter which will go to wherever you want your modem. If you have multiple PC's or laptops you will then need a router so the signal can go to each. Depending on the size of your home a wireless router may be the best option rather than having to hardwire each work station. |
