Recently I have started making my own handmade jewellery. I found that at certain times of the year when I wanted to buy a piece of dress jewellery, I didn't like what was 'in style' and couldn't find anything that really suited me. After speaking to a few friends who were already making their own jewellery, I decided to give it a go. I found that it was so easy and you could design anything you wanted - perfect for someone like me who doesn't like to follow the 'fashion crowd'.

I never like how much the jewelry costs in the stores! I just ordered some books and my daughter and I are going to start making our own as well. She is in High School so I'm thinking if people like the things she is wearing, we might start up our own web store (hubby is a web designer so he can do the hard work! lol)
I'm just ready to say that I have a hobby!
