I prefer something more along the lines of Carlito's Way or Goodfellas. Casino, Leon, Ronin and The Godfather are worth a look too.

If I'm looking for something a little more light hearted, I go for either one of the Naked Gun series or Airplane. The humour isn't to everybody's taste, but definitely worth a look as they are all available on budget now.

Hey, I own the whole set of Naked Gun. I love Frank Drebin! He's funny.

Have you seen Troy? That is another good war type movie, but in a mythology kind of sense.

My favorites include a lot of horrors, Silent Hill, The Exorcist, The Shining. More favorites is The Gladiator and The Godfather. I would like to see 300 over this weekend if I have time though.
