| I am not sure that I will ever understand how some people believe that the only theory of the origin of man that should be taught is creation. I personally believe in creation, but I cannot see how anyone could consider it a science. It is faith, meaning that it is something that cannot be proved. Science is about trying to find the proof to support a theory that you once set forth. I doubt that we will ever be able to prove that God exists so it in no way meets that criteria. |

| Wait a minute, before you start to pick me apart. I never said that I thought unschooling was a good idea, I support and intend to home school. Two very different things, one with structure and focus, one child led. And did I not just say that I think that creation is not the only thing that should be taught? Why is it all of a sudden you have decided to leap on my posts and belittle them-what in the world have I done to you? Having a belief in God does not make one strange, or wacko. The vast majority of people in this country believe in God and think that the leader of the country should too, so if you have a problem with people who believe, then you have a problem with a whole lot of people. |
