It would seem that the front runners for the search engine king title are msn, yahoo and google. Yet there are companies who offer to place you with hundreds of smaller ones for a fee.

Is it worth it? I mean, if you can get your site placed on the big ones, why bother?

In my personal opinion (for at least 7 years) this has been one of the biggest scams in the Search Engine Optimization field.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained by having someone submit your site to joe-blows-search-engine.com
