Default Has Y.ahoo! lost the race for SE?

I definatly think that yahoo has created a very big magrin between it and the leader Google which by no means can be bridged. Yahoo was created full 4 years before google was created in 1994. Still yahoo and a step below MSN both have combined share less that Google's share of search engine market.

I sometimes think that google with due course of time will buy out Yahoo!

Yes, I don't think Yahoo can beat Google anytime soon. Most people don't use Yahoo to search anymore. I think most webmasters optimize for Google only.

You are probably right, although Yahoo! is so much easier to get the rankings you seek IMHO.
