My mother bought me some of the "Best of the West" dolls and horses when I was a kid and I loved those things! I still have most of them and their equipment, although they're in hard shape. I played with them all the time.

In truth I was a tom boy. I loved cars, and trucks, and my favourites were a white Ferrari and a red, ride on fire truck. I could play for hours with those, and was upset (aged 22.....) when my mother gave them away.

I agree with SingleAgain... I too was a tom boy, so the types of toys I placed with trucks and cars. I did have some baby dolls but do not really remember using them that much. I do remember a doll that was called a Chrissy Doll.

I had one baby doll. ONE! I never owned a single Barbie or that type of doll, nor did I want to. But I did love Anne, my baby doll, and much to my delight my mother found her out when we went to visit, and my daughter loves her too.
